Arizona Border Collies

LOBO - Registered ABCA "Landry" and AKC AzBC Lobo

Lobo is almost three year old black and white (Medium Coat) male Border Collie and is an athletic wonder.  Although he has not been shown he has begun his training in agility and we have very high hopes.  But his passion is for leaping and jumping high into the air to catch frisbees.  His parents were both from a working ranch in Texas.

CONCHO - Registered ABCA "AZ Comencheros" and AKC.  Concho was an amazing puppy born to the cross between Lobo and Katie, born April 2009.  He has come on quickly and turned into an big little man.  He takes after his talented father.  Concho is very athletic.  Concho at 14 weeks knows come, sit, down, situp and rollover commands.  He is currently working well on herding (ducks) and has turned into one amazing young man.

DOG - Registered ABCA and AKC "Just NZ Dog"

Dog was born in October of 2009 and joined us from the Canada/Maine border.  He is a medium coat Black and White (mostly black).  He is started on herding (ducks) and working on obedience.  Looking at this picture reminds me of how much he has grown.  Dog is a very nice, outgoing, high drive young man.  He is doing well with obedience and moving forward on his herding training.  He has very good livestock drive.

BET - Registered ABCA and soon to be with AKC.

Bet is a two years old and joined us from Dual Oaks Farms.  She is started on herding (ducks).  Her first litter of puppies had great dispositions and amazing natural herding instinct.  We continue to work with her on herding, obedience and toys. We have high hopes for this little lady.

FRECKLES- Registered ABCA Freckles and AKC Blastoff PM Freckles Jean

Freckles is a three year old blue merle (Medium Coat) female Border Collie and is a gentle and affectionate lady.  Her manners are impecable and she loves children and enjoys a good toss of ball or frisbee.  She is also started on agility and performs well. 

Her parents are both from a working ranch in Oklahoma and are OFA and CERF certified.

KATIE- Registered ABCA Katie and AKC Blastoff Katie Jean.  Katie is a three year old red and white (Smooth Coat) female Border Collie and is a petite and very affectionate gal.  She loves children and enjoys a good toss of ball or frisbee.  She is also started on agility and performs well.  Katie really enjoy one on one time with dad, hanging out with him in his chair. 

 Her parents are both from a working ranch in Oklahoma and are OFA and CERF certified.

MERCER - Registered ABCA and AKC. 

Mercer is a Red Merle female, coat will be somewhere between Medium and Rough Coat.

Joining us from Dual Oaks Farms.  She is a little spitfire and gives Concho a run for biggest little dog.  She is petite in stature but you wouldn't know it with her little alpha attitude.  She is started on agility and frisbee, working well on both.  Recently she has started working sheep and ducks.  Mercer attended obedience training at Triple Crown in Austin, Texas.

Welcome....SASSY  (ISDS name pending)

Sassy is an import from Scotland.  She has recently joined us at Arizona Border Collies from an sheep farm in Forfar.  We have very high hopes for her.  Visit often and watch her grow.

RASCAL - Registered ABCA and AKC

Rascal is a ten year old tri colored (Rough Coat) male Border Collie.  He is our regal guy.  He spends most of the time guarding/playing tag with his buddy Jet (horse-AQHA).  Rascal has herding instinct and unfortunately we didn't have the animals for him to develop this skill.  But he made the best by helping keep the horses in line.
