Our passion for our canine companions began several years ago. Our first purebred Border Collie joined the family in 1994, a red and white male by the name of "Cowboy" Cowboy was a rescue from a local rancher. Before that we owned several Heeler cross Border Collies. But once Cowboy entered our lives, Border Collies have held a permanent place in our homes and hearts. Today we raise Border Collies with the express purpose of producing the best "PALs" for our friends and clients. Arizona Border Collies are currently finding homes with people who are actively involved with obedience, herding, agility, fly ball and Frisbee. Although some of our canine kids are simply having a great time just being great dogs with great families.
We strive to provide our canine kids with the best possible situation for each individual dog. It is our goal to raise Border Collies that are indicative of the breed; intelligent and possessing a positive working ability. We believe that Border Collies should be an essential member of the family and try to make sure their new family enjoys them as much as we do.
Our current Border Collie family members are registered with ABCA and AKC. Take a look at our family at work and at play. We occasionally have puppies available for sale as well as have rescued Border Collies for adoption through local veterinarians. All of the canine kids used in our breeding programs or that might be have been Penn-Hip and CERF tested. We try to name all of AZ Border Collie Kids after John Wayne movies or characters in them. (Rio Lobo = Lobo; Sons of Katie Elder = Katie and our newest addition AZ Comancheros = Concho).
This is a family affair which includes all of our human members: Jim, Peggy, Justin and Maci. We hope you gather the information you need but do not hesitate to contact us if we can be of service.
I have the unique privilege of working with over 150 veterinarians in Southern Arizona and want to extend my thanks to them for all their assistance in keeping the Arizona Border Collies healthy and happy.
